Esti-Magic is a Windows based application specifically developed for manufacturers of injection-molded parts. It enables users to reduce the amount of time and effort needed to generate job estimates and enhances the accuracy of prepared customer quotations. It provides a number of features for automating the quotation process including calculation of shot weights, material, machine, packaging and labor costs. This automation cuts the time required to prepare a quotation and significantly reduces the risks of error. Once the costs have been determined it produces a hard copy report of the calculations and a cover letter for the customer incorporating the quotation. Quotations are kept on file so that they can be matched with incoming orders and also used as the basis for new quotations for similar parts, reducing effort still further. Esti-Magic will run on a stand-alone PC running Windows 3.1 or later (minimum of 4 MB of memory recommended), or on a PC network if multi-user access is required for the quotations database.
